Declaration of Accessibility
The Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Bulgaria is committed to ensuring that the system is accessible to the widest possible group of users, regardless of the technology and skills used.
We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of the portal and in doing so adhere to available standards and best practice.
In order to meet the requirements and accessibility level criteria set by the European Commission for public administration websites, and at the same time meet the demands of current internet technologies, we will adhere to WCAG 2.0 standards and the Double-A compliance level.
Web Accessibility Initiative
The system will attempt to meet the Double-A level of accessibility according to the latest World Wide Web Consortium standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), using best practices and techniques.
WCAG 2.0 explains how to make content on websites more accessible to people with disabilities. Implementing the guidelines will help more people feel comfortable and benefit from the advantages of the internet.
W3C Standards
The system will attempt to meet a double-A level of accessibility according to the latest World Wide Web Consortium standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), using best practices and techniques.
Exceptions
While we strive to ensure compatibility with available accessibility standards, this is not always possible in every aspect. Browsers and web development and access techniques are evolving very rapidly and sometimes some of the standard accessibility requirements become redundant. In this light, we are continuously developing the portal technologically in order to achieve high standards of accessibility and usability of its content.
